I'm thrilled to be meeting my new second grade friends! I'm originally from Kentucky, graduating with a B.S. in 1987 from Murray State University in History and English with Secondary Certification, in 1989 with an Elementary Education endorsement, with a M.A. in Reading in 2005 from Austin Peay State University, and an Ed.S in special education from APSU in 2016. My husband and I live in the Rossview area with a nearly empty nest. Our kids, Jacob, Sean, and Rachel are products of Sango Elementary and Rossview Middle and High Schools. Exciting times! I taught several different ages of pre-schoolers while my children were young and this will be my twenty-fourth year at Sango Elementary. I'm looking forward to teaching reading, math, and all sorts of wonderful things to my new second graders!
