Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Kim Aretz and this is my 13th year teaching 5th grade. This is my 3rd year at Sango Elementary. I have an undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and a master's degree in Education from Austin Peay State University. My husband is retired military, and we have spent several years living in both Italy and Germany before moving here to Clarksville. I consider it to be a privilege to be a part of your child's education. I look forward to having a wonderful, successful school year. Parents will receive newsletters every Monday via ParentSquare with updates on what we are learning for the current week and important dates ahead. Please look for these newsletters. All fifth grade teachers also use the ParentSquare app (https://www.parentsquare.com/) almost daily to message you with information about homework, dates, behavior, to celebrate your child's success, and to ask for your assistance in helping your child achieve.  Student need to remember their ID tags every day.
