Welcome to 1st grade! My name is Katie Partlow and I am your child’s teacher this year. Let me tell you a little about myself. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University. This is my 9th year teaching but my 4th year at Sango Elementary. When I am not at school I enjoy crafting and hanging out with my husband, daughter (3 years old), and son (7 months old).

Our Classroom Rules are:

  1. Follow Directions Quickly
  2. Raise Your Hand For Permission to Speak
  3. Raise Your Hand For Permission to Leave Your Seat
  4. Make Smart Choices
  5. Keep Your Dear Teacher Happy

Our classroom behavior plan includes a class clip chart and a sticker chart. The color your child ends the day on will determine how many stickers they add to their chart. Students are working to earn a prize from the prize box or Sango Store and class rewards.
