I'm so happy to be at Sango Elementary School! I graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (Early Childhood Concentration) and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for nearly thirty years in a variety of grade levels, with the most experience in third and fifth grades. I have been married to my husband, Bob, for thirty-two years and have helped put both of my daughters through the University of Tennessee in Knoxville (go Vols!!). I enjoy all kinds of sports, having grown up in an athletic family. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, and my dog, Henley. I believe that communication between parents and teachers is very important in your child's development.
